My trip to Córdoba

CÓRDOBA

Córdoba is one of the most attractive cities in Spain. It has many emblematic monuments and museums to visit. You have to see it in person to really appreciate its beauty. We recommend you to come as soon as you can! You can see different kinds of decorations in the Mosque, the churchs and the Jewish quarter.                                                                                                                                      Our hotel is very cosy and it is decorated in a Muslin style. It organizes activities for its guests, which is a great idea in my opinion.

The city is a mixture of Christian , Jewish and Muslim culture, being a spectacular place to visit. It also has ancient monuments built by the Roman empire. Today we went to the Jewish quarter. It is a bit chaotic due to its alleys, nevertheless, it is very beautiful.
Here, in Córdoba, all the houses have a courtyard. When spring arrives, people start decorating them with flowers and ,in May, a jury proclaims the champion of the contest. It's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I wish this type of competition was also celebrated where I live.

For me, Córdoba it's quite similar to the other cities. The streets are long and narrow and they are made of stone. The city has many slopes too. Sometimes it's quite difficult to walk through them when they are crowded. The only difference is that most of them are pedestrian streets.
One of the things I love the most about this city is the food. I recommend you to try the salmorejo, hummus and some really thick omelettes they cook only there. People here are very nice and talkative. I love their accent! I could spend hours listening to them.

We leave some photos for you here!
