Our hotel in Rio is well-known and it's near the centre of the town. It has amazing views, and its workers pay attention to its guests.
It is just round many restaurants, pubs and souvenir shops where I buy keepsakes for my family! There are hundreds of them and each one has a peculiar characteristic, so I choose many differents.
Of course we do the activities the hotel workers advise us to do, like visiting the Sao Francisco da Penitencia Church
The beaches are amazing and gorgeous, take Copa Cabana and Ipanema for instance. Just today we went there for a walk. People here play both volleyball and football there. They even practice a sport called footvolley. It's the most incredible and enjoyable game I've ever seen.
For me, Río is much the same to other big cities. The streets are full of people dancing samba at nights.
The only difference is that people in Rio spend much time on the beaches and they are always playing music on the streets.
One of the things I like most is the people. Brazil is not a country where one race dominates. There is a huge variety of them. People really are warm and genuine.
